Closing in. . .

We're less than a week away from the very first Festival of Legends.  The excitement around here is palpable and I hope every one of you is just as excited about our inaugural year.

We published the schedule last week; here's the map as well!  When you arrive at Storybook Farm, there will be parking on both sides; just follow the attendants for where to park.

When the lot gets full, or if you simply don't want to park your car on grass, we have arranged with the City of Carrboro to make use of their park-and-ride, which is just a few miles away.  We have a shuttle bus that will run all day for your convenience!  The park-and ride is marked on the area map:

Festival of Legends Area Map

And here is the map that you will find in your program!  There is a road that goes all the way along the festival grounds, which needs to be kept clear for the residents who live in the three houses at the south end of the Festival site.  To give a sense of scale, the Feasting Hall is approximately 70' x 30'.

Parking will be for handicap and VIP in the area right by the festival grounds, and there is more parking farther north.  Plus, of course, the park-and ride is available if you want to take the shuttle or carpool !

We look forward to seeing you!

Hello and Welcome!

Hello!  And welcome to the Blog for the Festival of Legends.

It is fewer than 2 months until go time for the inaugural Festival of Legends, and we are EXCITED!!!

Tickets are in our hands.  We have mead beer and food lined up.  Our acts are phenomenal and our vendors are superb

T-shirts, Wine Glasses, Beer Steins and Tote bags have all been ordered. They will all bear our logo, designed by our good friend Jamie, and the bags are awesome.

Water bottle pocket, extra pocket on the front, key holder, and a zipper on the top.  These are going to sell well, I think!

We are getting good traffic to our website, but the website itself isn't terribly big.  This blog will help expand the space a bit and for people who subscribe to an RSS feed, we can keep you updated here better than on Facebook!

So, check out our website, like us on facebook and check out our Kickstarter Campaign!
